Since 1993, Westech College has been contracting with the State of California 's Employment Training Panel to offer State Funded CADD training programs to engineering, architectural, construction, and manufacturing companies in the Southern California region. So far, Westech College has trained about 3,000 employees from 1,200 different companies. Once a company is approved for State Funded Training, they can then send an unlimited number of employees to any of our courses.

CLASSROOM TRAINING

Westech offers classroom training at our Irvine, Ontario and Victorville campuses. Our courses run for 100 hours each. For most courses, classes meet twice a week for four hours in the evening. We also offer Saturday classes which meet once a week for 8 hours a day. By having each student complete a pre-assessment form, we are able to customize curriculum to best suit the needs of each student. Books and supplies are provided, and there is one computer assigned to each student. At the end of successfully completing the course, each student receives a Certificate of Completion.

ON-SITE TRAINING

WESTECH COLLEGE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE NOW OFFERING ON-SITE TRAINING COURSES AT YOUR COMPANY! LET US COME TO YOU AND TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES IN THE LATEST CADD SOFTWARE. ALL TRAINING EQUIPMENT, CURRICULUM, TEXTBOOKS, AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE EVERY ASPECT OF THE ON-SITE TRAINING TO MEET YOUR COMPANY'S NEEDS.

These courses are suitable if you:

- Have 8 or more students.
- Are looking for a more flexible curriculum and training schedule.
- Need only refresher or upgrade shorter term training.
- Need training, but want more control of the entire class structure.
- Need training in a course not currently scheduled. These courses are completely customizable and can begin anytime!

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR CADD TRAINING-STATE FUNDED

Employers

-Be a private, for profit company.

-Pay California Unemployment Insurance Tax.

Employees

-Must be a permanent, full-time employee.

-Earning at least $11.34 per hour for San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura Counties, $11.81 per hour
for San Diego County, and $12.37 per hour for Los Angeles and Orange Counties

-Must be employed with the company at least 90 days prior to the start of
training

NON-STATE FUNDED TRAINING

Westech College understands that not all individuals may qualify or wish to participate for the State Funded Training program, in these circumstances, we are able to admit students into these courses under private status.

APPLICATION


HOW TO APPLY FOR STATE FUNDED TRAINING

If you have determined that you qualify for State Funded Training, you can then submit a Registration Form. We must first receive a completed and signed Registration Form before we can reserve any seats. Once we have received this form, we will then begin the application process for your company. Although the application process is very basic, it does require full cooperation in order to complete it. Westech College asks that you prepare to work with us to get the application completed in a timely manner.
